"Ganpati Bappa Moriya"
This is what we shout on the road paying
farewell to our dearest Lord Ganesha.
We keep this idol for 1 and a half day , 5
days and many more days..
We do take care of this idol from Day one to
the end day... but is our farewell perfect?
The answer is No!
We have lots of bands and Dj music on which
we dance and go with Lord Ganesh to the beach!
Yes! We also carry out an arti there before
paying farewell.
But Unfortunately! We don't do it properly.
My Question is Why to put the Holy idol of
Lord Ganesha in the sea?
Putting the Ganesh Idol in sea is also
fine...
But what to do of the idol which again comes
out!
..
I'll elaborate! We take care of Lord Ganesha
every year! We worship it but putting the idol in the sea makes no sense…
Because when we leave the beach after putting the Ganesh idol in the sea the
same idol comes back… out of the sea on the beach broken and without pail!
It spoils the environment and also is
disrespect for God.
Enjoying Ganpati or Bringing a Ganesh Idol is
not wrong but.. Putting it in the sea is wrong.
We could actually arrange for an artificial
pond for a particular area and then put the Ganpati Idol In that … which is a
better option and does not cause harm to the environment!
Beaches are not meant for Visarjan’s!
I myself on the next day of the 1 and a half
day’s Visarjan was surprised to see 30-50 Ganpati Idols Out of the sea broken
and in bad condition.
What is the use of this? Disrespecting the
idol you have worshipped?
